| SHE'S OFFICIAL! | | Barbara Warner Wojdan, CDT, AAACD is Presented with Certificate and Medal at AACD Meeting On Saturday, May 21, 2011, Barbara Warner Wojdan, CDT, AAACD was officially presented with her AACD Accreditation certificate and medal during the AACD Celebration of Excellence Gala in Boston, MA. Barbara was recognized as one of only 331 dental professionals worldwide who have achieved this prestigious honor. She reached this achievement after completing a rigorous credentialing process including a written examination, oral examination, and the submission of clinical cases for peer-reviewed evaluation. She is the only AACD Accredited Member currently living in the state of Florida. "We could not be prouder of Barbara and her efforts to successfully achieve the rank of AACD Accredited Member," said Warren Rogers, president & CEO of Knight Dental Group. "This process has placed her among the most forward-thinking and talented dental technicians in the world, and we believe that our clients and their patients will only benefit from her ongoing quest for excellence." | IN REMEMBRANCE | |  Mark Wilson, MDT Passes It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Mark Wilson, MDT. Since 2003, Mark has served as the Lead Technician in our Extend implant division and was responsible for the development and training of technicians, as well as client communication. Mark was a graduate of the University of Manchester Dental School in Manchester, England where he studied dental technology and became a Master Dental Technician. During his career, he worked with Dr. Hilt Tatum, one of the early pioneers in implant dentistry where he sharpened his knowledge and skills.  Mark's passion was always to look for new technology and materials to help improve implant dentistry and to better serve our clients and their patients in a more informed way. In spite of a busy schedule at the lab, you would often find Mark spending time with clients and other technicians, acting as a constant teacher and mentor. The gifts of his love for the profession, his sense of family and certainly his friendship will serve as constant reminders of Mark within the Knight family. |
| KNIGHT WELCOMES CINDY NALLY, CDT | | | Nally Brings Vast Dental and Implant Experience to the Knight Family In June, Knight Dental Group, CDL, DAMAS welcomed Cindy Nally, CDT to the Extend Implant Attachment & Removable Solutions division as a Lead Implant Technician. Cindy brings to Knight her expertise in advanced implant and attachment techniques, as well as her experience in management, vendor communications, education of both doctors & technicians and case planning & consultation. She is a Certified Dental Technician with a specialty in complete dentures, and has served as both a laboratory manager and manager of a removable department during her career. |
